dear doris. why do babies smell like blueberries?
issue 48 ♡ sniff away and be intoxicated with love
why do babies smell like blueberries? love moki, sydney, australia.
dearest moki and folks who like to sniff babies heads,
its autumn holidays down under and my family have been down and out for pretty much the entire duration of the break. i didn’t anticipate this zombie-like state and being out of action for two weeks — so pardon me while i dig into my drafts this week to share notes that i channelled for a friend #justforfun.
children smell like blueberries, strawberries, cherries, chocolate & cream puffs and all that stuff, cos’ they are sweet — literally and figuratively.
they are created and born sweet so that we wish to devour them, delight and delish and relish them with our hungry hearts. it was instigated by the higher-ups in consciousness of source that we/they make babies insatiable, so that we feed and nurture them, care and love them. the reason to do so — is to carry on as humans.
your sense of smell is sensitive and also accustomed to pineal glands that omit perfume like secretions from them, pumping out an intoxicating whiff and wafting into our hearts. the sensory of smell is often overlooked and it’s a shame we don’t count it visibly as much as sight and sound. our sense of smell takes up a thirty percent of our daily sensory system — literally a third of our senses and how we see and smell and hear things.
so sniff away at their heads and be intoxicated with love — and long live the blueberry baby head you can scratch n’ sniff.
take a whiff and lift your sensory system.
amen.
love d xx
