where is kawa & her angel friends? how do we explain to little people where she is now?
love christine, dumbarton, scotland.
dear christine,
the answer to your first question is channelled from my higher self doris — accessed through meditation and journaling. the second is from yours truly as dee and my earth-bound experience in speaking of angels with our little people.
kindly note that ‘god’ could be substituted for any vernacular or venerable you prefer and heaven can be replaced with the spiritual plane that aligns with you.
part. I
kawa is in heaven. she is a spirit. she is pure consciousness. she is a light being. she is a pure source from god/source consciousness.
she is free in a way we cannot comprehend on earth. she is free of obligations, lessons, lives. she is living in the ether. the in-between. the world between worlds. she can hear, see and know all there is to know in the higher realms.
currently she is studying. she is examining her former life lived in earth and observing her family from afar. she drops them little love notes from the heavens so that they know she is there — always and forever by their sides.
she is learning to guide others. they are young souls — like children, who flock to her incandescence and light — she is a magnet to them and her to them. she is a big sister angel.
her last journey to earth was short-lived however it was epic and grand and beautiful in a way that can only truly be appreciated from a higher perspective — that death of the physical form could be a wondrous thing — that the lessons learnt from those around her, echoed far beyond the bounds of her heart.
her heart lives on in the physical* and that is a thread to life that kawa chose to keep — as she literally and physically has a chord or line to earth. she can tug on her own heart strings. she can access the tan tien (the higher heart) through her own heart beating on and on.
it truly was a special mission for her to learn the lesson of love — a great love shared with her mother and father and the world itself — mama gaia. she adored the earth. she understood it to be its own living entity. she hugged trees to feel the beat, the pulse of gaia. she knew gaia to be a great mother to us all on earth.
she was exceptionally gifted in her life, as she is now in heaven. her soul could not be diluted or masked. her beauty knows no bounds, just as she is in heaven. she is an enigmatic soul inside and out, up here and down there and everywhere.
she has lived so many lives — so many, innumerable to reach this place as an angelic sister — a big sister to souls who are yet to incarnate. she sets them off on their journey before they incarnate. like the final goodbye before they descent onto the physical realm. she is delighted in this role, this space where she is free of bounds and conditions, rules and regulations that lives place upon you.
she is truly happy, content being back in the non-physical realm where her gifts can be utilized for greater good. she feels more helpful and of use in the high heavens. some souls prefer the ‘ground work’ but she has always loved the non-physical realm where she can float and truly feel — and be free of the weight and gravitas of earth and other planetary systems.
however, once in awhile she does and will return to earth in some shape or form — to revisit, retrace, retract, regain physical form in a human being.
she misses her mama from earth as they are soul sisters, learning lessons together in so many lives incarnated together. dee, her mama is yet to finish her life. her contract says she will live long — a very long life so that she can practice the art of connection to the spiritual realm.
the chord — the heartstrings — connect her to kawa and they can both tug on it at any given time. it is the gift of this lifetime. it is the way of suffering and grief and knowledge that life and death is truly impermanent — that we are here to live and die (physically) that our souls live on forever ever and ever. its a never ending story.
but there is rest and respite in-between and when its your time, allow it to be, just as a flower knows to bloom and also knows to wither, wear and be taken by the wind. allow life to unfold and unravel, twist and turn, travel beyond your expectations and have no expectations.
hold your heart in your hands to share and care and bear witness to love, a love so grand you can hardly stand in its light. allow love to pour into your heart. you are the product of knowing, of love, of great source, a child of consciousness.
love is grand, life is to be lived and heaven awaits when your ship expires. but stay aboard no matter how rough and wild it seems, no matter how tough and terrible the storm, no matter how wild and windy and tenacious the tide, hold on for this bumpy ride and confide in your heart that you are afraid and angry and anxious and all-that-jazz.
however know that it is a passage — merely a voyage across a channel that you have chose to take — to test the waters and to jump into unchartered waters. that you won’t die, that you will live to tell and share your tale of disaster and destruction, over a cup of tea underneath the apple tree and laugh with glee how it was all meant to be — and that you are free and there’s no reason to ever flee, from this game of life.

part II.
i wrote a book love is. to address angels for little people and big peeps. while it is an ode to love, it was also created to encourage otherworldly conversation between little and big peeps — to explore the angelic and the afterlife through pictorial form and rhyme. the higher intention is to create a safe space where questions of the divine may be asked and the can of woo-woo worms could be cracked open.
children naturally have the ability to connect to spirit and source consciousness. they are the ones who innately understand and feel the unheard and unseen better than we can ever explain. all we need to do is allow the conversation and curiosity to flow.
the first time i read love is. to a class of students, i was prompted with all sorts of questions — where did this book come from? and i explained that kawa would leave me love notes — whispering little words and phrases that i knew to write down. this was accepted as my truth from them.
the conversation turned to talk of a grandparent who had passed or a beloved pet and the chatter was curious and joyful. when we speak of those who have passed, we honour them as spirits and acknowledge them as living souls. we know in our hearts that they are listening and stoked to be addressed in spoken word.
i have found using pictures is a wonder-full way to express angels to little peeps. kawa loved drawing pictures of our family. so when she passed through, i continued her tradition of our portrait — however instead of standing next to us, she is pictured on a little cloud close above us — still ever present and apart of our famiglia.
when our little man was about eighteen months, we walked through the valley of the giants — a very mystical, very magical part of the deep south of western australia where giant tingle trees reign. while perched on top of paint guy’s shoulders, he proceeded to call out his angel sisters name, “ka-waaaa! kaaa-waaa!” for the first time ever. it filled us with glee and giggles cos’ it was possibly the most perfect place she would choose to be with us — probably hugging the biggest tree she could find.
our youngest was born after his eldest sibling passed into spirit, so they never met as living breathing humans on earth. however he has understood his entire life that he has two big sisters — one on earth and the other in heaven. it’s neither strange nor suspect — it just is. there is no shame or stigma attached to it. there is no hushing or shushing. we speak of angels like we would any other human — they just happen to be without form, but always full of spirit, so to speak.
